Republican fundraising nearly doubled Democrats’ fundraising in June, as Democrats continue to engage in 2024 losses and internal conflicts, according to Hill’s report and Fox News Digital Review.

Hill reported that the Republican National Committee raised a total of $16.2 million in June, far surpassing the Democratic National Committee’s $8.6 million over the same period.

According to the outlet, RNC currently has a total of $80.78 million war chests of $878 million, while DNC has $15.22 million.

This was because Democrats had to deal with internal turmoil in June, so former vice-chairman David Hogg, progressive activist Drama, decided not to seek re-election a few months after being promoted to the role. Hogg caused a considerable internal rift in a push to the major older incumbent Democrats.

At the time, DNC vice-chairman Malcolm Kenyatta told Fox News Digital that the process was “irritating” and felt like a “slap in the face.”

“We were very unfocused,” Kenyatta said. “We spent a lot of time talking about procedural nonsense within the DNC. I promise no one cares about it. No one wants to talk about it as much as me.

This comes as Vice President Kamala Harris burned millions of dollars in a star-studded event the eve of the election after spending a whopping $1.5 billion in a 15-week campaign and then defeated President Donald Trump.

Despite this seemingly dire situation, the Democratic leadership has taken on an optimistic tone, saying in a statement Monday this June was the “highest ever” grassroots donation in the committee’s history.

The party has raised a total of more than $50 million since the beginning of the year, according to the statement.

DNC Chairman Ken Martin commented, “Across the country, people are uplifting, ready to fight back, and empowering Democrats to win the election.”

“The DNC is breaking grassroots fundraising records, attracting more volunteers than ever before and raising record-setting funds to beat Republicans,” Martin said. “Thanks to grassroots energy in all 50 states, Democrats are back in the ring. Together, we are going to beat the toxic Republican agenda and bring this country back on track for our hardworking families.”

Meanwhile, Hill also reported that the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) surpassed its counterpart, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which surpassed its second quarter of $32.3 million to $29.1 million and $18.1 million to $12.7 million in June.

The outlet said that despite the funding, the DCCC reported that it had $39.7 million on hand, and that NRCC had $37.6 million. However, this is the first time in four years that NRCC has surpassed DCCC in the first six months of the election cycle.

A Fox News digital review of NRCC funding numbers found Republican Congressional candidates in the Swing district outperform vulnerable House Democrats in order to earn more than $848,000 in the second quarter, between $1.1 million and $661,000.

NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella said in a statement emailed to Fox News Digital that the committee is building a “historic” war chest.

“While House Republicans were building historic warboxes to grow their majority, House Democrats were broken, split and hijacked by socialists,” Marinella said. “The donors are hitting the brakes because they know that this party is pathetic, purposeless and that they have no chance to regain the majority.”

Fox News Digital reached out to RNC, DNC and DCCC for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

Deirdre Heavey, Paul Steinhauser and Stephen Sorace of Fox News Digital contributed to this report.
