The Colorado Democrats are facing criticism for leading a fundraiser with Rep. Ilhan Omar less than an hour after Sunday’s anti-Semitic terrorist attack, which injured 12 people, including Holocaust survivors.
The suspect, 45-year-old Mohamed Sabri Soliman, has faced many state-level murder charges for federal hate crime accusations and using agitation devices to burn people who burned the people who rallied on the people who had rallied on the release of Israel on October 7, 2023 by terrorist groups.
Authorities say Soliman was illegally in the state after overstaying visas and work permits.
About 30 minutes later, in nearby Denver, there was a “private reception” with Omar, a leading Israeli critic, with many other Democrats listed as hosts. Ticket prices ranged from $500 to $7,000. Omar is a member of a progressive group of legislators known as the “Squad.”

“Colorado Democrats raising money for infamous anti-Semites should forever be ashamed of themselves, but doing so is the victims of the latest wave of anti-Semite violence on their way to hospitals, and even more hypocritical and denigrated.”
“Last year, House Democrats left Israeli hostage families and denied access to the floor of their homes for fear that radical members of House Democrats themselves might cause scenes. Enough is enough. They must speak clearly against extremists who justify violence against the Jewish community around the world.
In the aftermath of the attack, Omar posted to X. “Violence against any form is never acceptable. We must reject hatred and harm in every form.”

Rep. Junie Joseph of D-Boulder, who attended the event, faced further scrutiny, but she told Fox News Digital that she denounced anti-Semitism.
“Sunday has been a very painful day for our community. My heart is with all the victims of the Boulder attack and all those affected. I clearly condemn all forms of hatred and violence, including anti-Semitism and Islamophobia,” Joseph said in an email to Fox News Digital.
“I’ve heard concerns about Congressman Ilhan Omar attending a private event. I was originally invited to introduce her to a Young Democrat event that focused on young people’s involvement.

“To attend that event was not an endorsement of any particular policy or comment. It was an extension of my role as a civil servant who believes in maintaining dialogue, inclusion and open communication lines, even when views are different.”

“It is not mutually exclusive to support anti-Semitism and peace, dignity and human rights for everyone, including Israelis and Palestinians. I believe both are essential to a fair and caring society,” Joseph further said. “These are difficult times and I am committed to listening, learning and being careful to lead. Jews, Muslims and more for all members of our community.”
