The White House aims to be a democratic critic of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), highlighting that the work of the new institution was once defended by prominent Democrats.
“To all Democrats who plan to protest this week, here is Doge’s explanation from your party’s own beloved leader,” said White House Press Director Karoline Leavitt, former president Barack. He said in a X Sunday post while sharing the Obama video. And Joe Biden is hoping for reforms similar to those created by Doge.
“Budget reform is not an option. It’s necessary,” Obama said in the video. “We will maintain a system that is increasing its usefulness or sucking billions of dollars of taxpayer dollars into programs that exist solely for the power of politicians, lobbyists or interest groups. I can’t do that.”
“Americans have a right to be transparent,” Biden said in the video. “They are eligible to know where their dollars are heading, and they are entitled to be accountable to make sure they are using the dollars in what we said.”

Democrats stepped up their attacks last week on Doge and his leader, billionaire Elon Musk, claiming Trump’s project is a violation of the constitution and filed several lawsuits to stop the momentum of the new division. He claimed that he was doing it.
But Leavitt pointed out that many of Doge’s priorities were the same throughout the aisle, especially for the two most well-known Democratic leaders.
“We’re going through the federal budget… Page by page, line by page, exclude programs that are not needed and insist that what we need works in a sensible and cost-effective way,” Obama said. I say it. Speech from part of the video.

Experts reveal that large levels of waste can be reduced from qualifications, pet projects: “Load of fats”
“The simplest thing is to remove pointless waste and stupid spending that doesn’t benefit anyone,” Obama said, another point in the oval office where the then president sat next to a massive amount of papers. I’ll say it in. “It’s not when it’s your money, and the amount of waste is unacceptable.”
“We want to instill a new culture of not just our administration, but all subsequent administrations, actually pursuing,” Biden said at another point in the video.

Similar numbers were seen in a recent Economist/YouGov poll. This indicates that 42% of respondents view Doge favorably, while 38% have a disadvantage about the department.
