Several Democrats sparked confusion before and after President Trump’s speech on Tuesday’s joint session of Congress, despite many of the parties calling for them not to do so.
Trump’s speech soon, Dem. Rep. Al Greene stood up and began screaming at the president, waving his wand at him.
“Members are engaged in deliberate and polite violations, and the Speaker is ready to direct the Sergeant to restore the order to the joint session,” House Speaker Mike Johnson said in response to jealousy from the crowd.
“Mr. Green, take your seat,” he added.

Johnson speakers then ordered the sergeant to remove the greenery from the room, and he was escorted.
One of Trump’s most vocal critics, Green has already submitted a perk each article against Trump about what he called the “ethnic cleansing of Gaza.”

Earlier in the day, some Democrats warned that they should avoid attitudes during their speech, including former Kamala Harris 2024 senior adviser Ian Sams.
“Doctor: Don’t do this stupid sh during Trump’s speech,” former Harris 2024 senior advisor Ian Sams posted on X Tuesday.

Rep. Melanie Stansbury, Dn.M., quietly protested Trump when he walked to the podium before his speech on Tuesday night.
Stansbury, a top Democrat on House Doge’s subcommittee, held up a sign saying, “This isn’t normal” as Trump welcomed people nearby.
Rep. Lance Gooden of R-Texas appeared to grab a piece of paper from Stansbury and throw it. He stood across the aisle from her along with fellow Republicans.
