Deputies and family members found the child in danger Thursday night after authorities reported him missing in Los Angeles.
According to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department report, 8-year-old Tristian King Talei Burrell was last seen in the 200 block of East 127th Street around 5 p.m.
Officials say Tristian is autistic and nonverbal. “His loved ones are concerned for his well-being and ask for your help,” the department said in a release.

Authorities describe Tristian as a black man, 4 feet tall, approximately 120 pounds, with black hair in dreadlocks and brown eyes.
Tristian was reportedly last seen wearing a black shirt with red, white, and yellow graphics, black pants, and a black jacket with red, white, and yellow graphics.
LASD announced at 10:03 p.m. that Tristian had been found.
“We would like to thank the public, media, aviation authorities, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Tristian,” LASD said in a release.
