Investigators are searching for a murder suspect in Los Angeles after one man died Friday night.
It happened just after 11pm in East LA, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to reports of gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of Eastman Avenue and arrived to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man’s family took him to a local hospital, where he was later declared to have died.
LASD did not immediately reveal the victim’s identity.
Although details of the incident are limited, officials said deputies found evidence of the shooting in the 3600 block of East Meissner Street.
Investigators also found that they saw the dark-colored sedan leaving the scene shortly after filming, but said no further information was available as of Saturday afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing and LASD asked anyone with information to contact the Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
