Detectives at the Los Angeles Police Department are seeking a 26-year-old Armenian national witness or potential victim who was arrested for luring a teenage girl, officials announced Monday.
Varush Manoukyan was arrested on April 10th for an invitation that occurred a day ago around 5pm, according to a community alert released by the LAPD missions department.
“The victim, a female mid-teens, was able to quickly escape from the suspect’s vehicle and notify police,” authorities said.

Authorities say the 26-year-old may have approached the victim of his car. He is reportedly known to use his mobile phone to translate directional requests and seek out some kind of assistance.

The vehicle and the 26-year-old are currently in police custody, officials said.
Detectives say Manukan has likely visited the following areas frequently in the past two to three months.
Vannuis and Roscoe Boulevard Area 1640, Los Angeles West 3rd Street Block 3000, Los Angeles West 7000, Los Angeles South Hoover Street near Carmel Recreation Center on Traurel Canyon Boulevard and Sheldon Street in Sun Valley
Authorities added that potential victims, including women approached or contacted by Manukan, can report the case to detectives in the mission department of LAPD.
