California Highway Patrol (CHP) coastal survey service unit investigators are working to determine the cause of the body’s body death found in the Camarillo 101 Expressway.
At around 11:50 am on Friday, CHP Ventura Communications Center was notified of the body found during aerial search by Ventura County (VC) air unit. The VC air unit was in an area looking for a missing person.
CHP’s coastal category survey service unit, CHP MOORPARK, a detective of the Ventura County Security Bureau, has arrived at the place to support the investigation of death.
Foul play is not doubtful. There is no arrest, and the involvement of alcohol and drugs is still unknown.
During this survey and recovery, there was no lane closure on the 101 highway.
The Bentura County Security Office, the Ventura County Search Rescue Corps, and the Bentura County Medical Inspector Office responded to the site to support physical investigation and recovery.
If you are asked to contact the 805-553-0800 CHP Moore Park Office, you have information about the case.
