Disneyland will celebrate Black Music Month this June with brass bands, jazz quartets, interactive exhibits, character encounters and gifts.
The resort-wide celebration will also include over 40 musical acts and new treats as part of its Celebrate Soulful Campaign.

Disneyland Park
The new window display on Main Street in the US pays homage to early 20th century black banjo players and presents instruments, posters and records that highlight the African origins of musical instruments and their influence on American music.
Guests may meet at the live-action film Royal Hall and Ariel, as they greet Princess Teana at New Orleans Square and guests near “It’s a Little World.”
At Golden Horseshoe, an exhibition entitled “Black Music at the Turn of the Century” explores country music and its black pioneer roots.
Near the refreshment corner, the pianist celebrates the legendary ragtime Scott Joplin with a live performance.
Musical acts including the CFLC All-Star Brass band are Got Rhythm! , CFLC Zydeco Quartet will perform at Tiana’s palace.
The show will take place on certain dates at 1pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm.
This month’s special menu includes Buffalo Chicken Baynet sliders on Royal Street Veranda and Red Velvet Cake from Cafe Orleans.
Disney California Adventure Park
In Hollywood lands, guests can discover the works of Disney legend Lanny Smoot. Lanny Smoot is a pioneering imaginer who was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
Black Panther, Dora Miraje and Captain America greet guests at the Avengers headquarters on the Avengers campus.
Five & Dime, a jazz group led by singer Dime, will perform classic hits on Buena Vista Street.
Various acts from Paradise Garden Bandstand will also appear on stage.

Visitors will also enjoy soulful sounds and cooking at the Jazz Kitchen Coast Grill & Patio, or nod to Ship & Sonder’s Nico Cold Brew in honor of Rosen Nicoh, one of New Orleans’ first black female entrepreneurs.

Resort Hotel
Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa features daily pool deck performances with lo-fi hip hop, neo soul and R&B. Artists include Island Reggae Band, DJ Paul Strickland, DJ Camille Weldon and Alan Lightner Duo.
The Disneyland Hotel will offer live music in the broken spell lounge on Friday and Saturday, with sets of Sydney Runny, Breedhuggins and Cliff Beach.
At the Pixar Place Hotel, guests can enjoy smooth jazz in the lobby a few days a week, with Joe Gardner, animated pianist from Disney and Pixar’s “Soul” performing live.
