Following the disappointing performance in the November election, as Democrats continue to appeal to moderate, the Democratic National Committee has announced the employment of an executive director with a history of promoting left and right ideologies.
The DNC announced that it will hire Roger Lau as executive director in a press release highlighting his long career, including working on the campaign for Senator Elizabeth Warren.
A digital review of Fox News found multiple instances of LAU related to progressive causes, including signing a 2020 letter claiming the US was built on “racism” and “genocide.”
“Our country was built on the foundations of racism, ranging from indigenous genocide, chatty slavery, racial profiling of young men of color, and a criminal justice system that torn families apart.

The letter announced support for a 10-point plan to address “police violence” and “racial justice,” including a committee on “structural racism” and measures to declare racism a “public health crisis.”
Lau’s Compliance The Black Lives Matter Platform says that according to a 2020 ABC News report, it is behind Lau putting a hidden BLM message in the Senator’s DNC speech.

US Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) will respond on the fourth day of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) at United Center in Chicago, Illinois, USA on August 22, 2024.
Lau can be seen taking part in a video posted on Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s YouTube page. He recently expressed his sadness towards the man’s family who was shot, trying to stab an innocent bystander at Hick Phil A, who warned about a “white culture of supremacy.”
Lau’s resume also includes opposition to a resolution that accused the Chinese Communist Party of misleading the world regarding the origins and spread of the coronavirus.

“The DNC is focused on equipping Democrats across the country with the tools they need to beat Democrats, and we are honored to support Chairman Martin in this important job,” Lau said in a press release announcing the employment. “When we are in the opposition, the work of the DNC is more important than ever. This team will be able to see this moment by deepening partnerships, strengthening grassroots organizations, and strengthening turbocharger elections to acquire turbochargers, leveraging the vast infrastructure we have built within the DNC and the state’s parties.”
Fox News Digital reached out to DNC for comment.
The DNC is already facing criticism of some of the other new faces that have brought to lead the party into the midterm. New vice-chairman David Hogg has caused an old social media post to go viral as conservative activists raised alarms about his past policy stance and rhetoric against conservatives.
Social media conservatives were also chuckling the DNC during their leadership polls earlier this month to feature a few “over-parody” moments.
