Dodgers fans in East Los Angeles went to the streets on Monday night to celebrate the team’s third consecutive victory against the New York Yankees in the World Series, urging a law enforcement presence.
The crowd near the intersection of the Olympics and Atlantic Boulevards were seen dancing on brooms, waving sidewalks, crosswalks, and many Dodger flags, hoping for a four-game sweep.

I kicked heavy smoke as a crowd of onlookers cheered as I saw several cars playing donuts at the intersection.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and officials from the California Highway Patrol have blocked several intersections in the area, possibly to prevent the celebrations from spreading.
