In collaboration with Japanese artist Murakami Takahashi, a new collection of Dodgers merchandise will be available on a Japanese Heritage Night at Dodger Stadium on Monday.
According to Complex, the new product line will first be available in the stadium, then launching a very limited time on Complex.com, Fanatics.com and the Fanatics app. Murakami also throws a ritual first pitch before the game.
This new collection comes after the success of the Murakami X MLB Tokyo Series collection, which launched in March ahead of the league’s Tokyo Series.

The first collection included Dodgers and Chicago Cubs products, including Nike T-shirts, hoodies and jerseys featuring Murakami’s flower motifs. For the Dodgers, Murakami’s artwork was featured in Japanese pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Shortstop Mookie Betts, and Murakami’s artwork on the jerseys of one-base handed Freddie Freeman.
Murakami’s popularity exploded in 2002 when he combined his signature design with Louis Vuitton for the bag line. The bag features his iconic floral motifs and quirky characters in bright colors, and quickly became part of the brand’s most coveted items.
