If you thought the Los Angeles Dodgers would be slow to acquire players because they already have a world champion roster, you were wrong.
The Dodgers have added one of this offseason’s most coveted prizes, Korean star second baseman Hae Sung Kim, according to the team on Friday.

Kim, 25, played for the KBO’s Kiwoom Heroes for eight years, during which time he batted .304. He is also known for his speed, stealing 30 bases last season.
But he’s probably better known for his glove than his bat. Kim has won the KBO Golden Glove Award four times, three times as a second baseman and once as a shortstop.
It’s not immediately clear whether he will remain at second base for the Dodgers or move to shortstop. The team classified him as a utility player in its announcement.
His contract reportedly has three seasons and $12.5 million guaranteed, with options for fourth and fifth years.
