A missing dog that survived the Palisades fire has been found.
The Special Mongrel League told KTLA on Sunday that the dog, named Oreo, was part of a devastated family who “lost everything” in the fire and were searching for their beloved dog.
Oreo is 2 to 3 years old and weighs about 14 pounds, according to the rescue group.

According to a flyer sent out by the League of Extraordinary Mutts, Oreo was last seen at 16001 Pacific Coast Highway. However, the date of the sighting was not immediately confirmed by the nonprofit group.

According to the League of Extraordinary Mongrels, a similar-looking dog was reported to have been seen near Via de la Paz and Friends Street on Thursday night, but the person who saw the dog ran away. I couldn’t catch it.
An hour after this article was published, it was reported that Oreo had been discovered. A TikTok video captured the moment Oreo was reunited with his family.
