Over the course of several days, hundreds of millions of dollars worth of contracts and grants have ended for several days, the government’s Department of Efficiency (DOGE) said Thursday.
According to a Doge post on X, the federal agency has eliminated 269 “wasteful” contracts.

Doge has eliminated the $90 million grant. This includes $995,000 for the Bipoc (Black, Indigenous and Colored) Cooking Programme and $625,000 for the Russian Federation Eastern Biodiversity Partnership.
One of the contracts that ended was “a division of $50,000 interior consulting agreements to provide facilitation and cooperative problem-solving services.

On Wednesday, Attorney General Pam Bondy said the repealed Justice Department includes some of the grants, including $2 million, for a “national listening session for experienced individuals.”
The other was a $625,000 grant for “Case Study Design of Parallel Convergent Mixing Methods to Assess the Effectiveness of Police Department LGBTQ Liaison Services.”

Leading by Elon Musk, Doge was offensive in its mission to eradicate wasted spending and reduce the scope of the federal government.
