The government’s Office of Efficiency (DOGE) announced on Wednesday that it had cancelled at least 58 contracts, resulting in more than $150 million in savings for US taxpayers.
In X’s Wednesday night post, the agency led by tech billionaire Elon Musk said that the cancelled contracts were in media, DEI, and consulting categories for various agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Transport. He said it fell down.
“58 cancellations exceeding $150 million in categories including media, DEI and consulting. This includes $405,000 for DHS and ~4M for DOT. Includes DEIA programs and project management. Support services,” the Post said.
