At least four people were hospitalized after a devastating hit and rank rush in Westlake on Sunday afternoon.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to KTLA that around 12:20pm, the black Alfa Romeo driver had collided with two other cars on Olympic Boulevard and Union Avenue, fleeing the scene.
The LA Fire Station crew responded and had to save two adult patients trapped in one of the hit cars. Both patients were escaped from the wreckage and taken to hospital in dangerous conditions.
According to LAPD, one of these patients was not conscious or breathing.
Two other patients whose age is not disclosed were found at the scene and transported with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the LAFD.
Authorities did not immediately identify patients, but unconfirmed reports say the latter two patients were minors.
