Reports say one person was killed in a violent collision with a semi-truck on a Riverside County highway just before midnight Wednesday.
Footage from Stringer Service KNN shows a sedan stuck deep under the semi-truck trailer on the right shoulder of the 91 highway westbound on Lasiera Avenue. The top half of the sedan was pushed back to the midpoint of the car.
An unconfirmed report from KNN shows Riverside City Firefighter first requested the truck to escape, but was cancelled after the driver was declared dead at the scene. It was not immediately clear whether there were other passengers in the vehicle.

Details remain limited and authorities have not yet confirmed stringer information with KTLA. However, footage from the aftermath of the crash and ongoing investigation suggests at least one fatality. No drivers were identified.
KNN also reported that the semi-truck driver was not injured and said it stopped on the right shoulder and secured the light when the large rig went to the rear end.
As of 9am on Wednesday, there were no road closures at the scene, according to Caltrans QuickMap.
