Authorities are under investigation after the driver was found dead in a vehicle on the 110 highway in South Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Sky5 footage shows the victim’s vehicle, an older model Toyota Corolla, stopped on a southbound transition road from the 110 highway to the eastbound 105 highway.

The person was found lying in the driver’s seat and was later removed from the vehicle, but CHP has not confirmed how the person died. There have been reports of possible shootings, but authorities have not yet confirmed these details.
A Sigalert was issued around 10:45pm, closing lanes to the 105 Expressway, where both northbound and southbound transition roads were east, were closed to traffic.
Authorities were seen scrutinizing nearby roads for possible evidence. There were no suspects at the scene.
The driver’s identity was not announced as the incident is under investigation.
