Authorities say the driver crashed into a squad car at the Los Angeles Police Station, sending at least two people to the hospital.
Preliminary information confirmed by LAPD shows the first collision occurred around 2:15am on Saturday at Santa Monica Boulevard near Kingsley Drive in East Hollywood.
The first responder arrived at the scene and found that three vehicles were involved in a frontal road collision. Two people were taken to a nearby hospital, including one listed in critical condition.
No information has been released regarding either identity.

Video from the scene obtained by KTLA shows a scene of a crash that severely damaged two sedans. The footage shows Mustang was also involved in the collision. This is because they were partially sitting on the damaged sidewalk on the front end.
While officers were investigating the crash, a man driving a Chevrolet Camaro blocked the location where the crash had been dropped and apparently hit the back of a LAPD squad car on the scene.

A LAPD spokesman could not confirm why he was detained or arrested, but the man was seen in police custody.
No further information regarding either incident was readily available.
