Authorities said Saturday that the 21-year-old driver died during a collision, including another vehicle and a Metro train in Long Beach.
Officers were dispatched to the 12th Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard areas around 11:55pm on Friday, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police say the victim, a 21-year-old Compton woman, was speeding southbound on Long Beach Boulevard in the 2014 Infinity Q50. The headlights are not on.
The agreement got in the way, not in the way, and not on the rear end, avoiding hitting guardrails, Infinity shook, lost control and attacked the subway train.
Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital, where she later died of injuries.
The drivers of the agreement remained on the scene and worked with police, authorities said.
“Speed and impaired driving are being investigated as potential factors in this collision,” according to a police statement.
No injuries have been reported on the train.
