The suspected driving driver while affected Monday night has become a California Highway Patrol officer after a dangerous high-speed chase that hits speeds above 100 mph.
Both the California Highway Patrol and the LA Police Department were engaged in pursuits, primarily when they went from the highway in the San Fernando Valley to ground roads, but it is unclear which agencies began the pursuit.
The suspect got on the Northbound 101 Freeway behind the wheels of the red coloured vehicle, where he cut across the lane and weaved over traffic on the CHP at Chase before leaving at Balboa Boulevard.

As CHP officials tried to enter position due to possible pit maneuvering, the suspect accelerated to nearly 100 mph on Victory Boulevard, nearly losing control while watching the fishtail.
The driver pulled ahead of the officers and won the 405 highway before leaving the Sherman Oaks highway and crashing violently into Sherman Oaks Boulevard and the wall of the waterway.
CHP officials quickly pulled the suspect out from under the airbags deployed to the vehicle and took him into custody.
