Hit and Run left someone who died overnight at Paramount.
The crash occurred at Alondra Boulevard on Garfield Street around 2am on Sunday, with preliminary information showing.
Details surrounding the crash remain limited. However, the video from the scene obtained by KTLA shows that the pickup truck and sedan are involved. Both vehicles suffered serious damage.
The sedan driver was killed as a result of a collision. They were pre-identified by detectives at the scene as a man in his 60s, the sole resident of the vehicle.

According to initial reports, the Dodge Ram Pickup driver had escaped the scene on foot as of 11am on Sunday after the collision. The suspect’s description has not been released yet.
It is also unclear why the two vehicles collide and whether impairment was involved.

Jennifer McGraw of KTLA 5 reported that his family and loved ones were out in the area where they had crashed in the morning. Investigators were also seen in areas looking for evidence. There are several businesses in the area that may have acquired a crash with security cameras.
The pickup truck was seen to be towed from the scene around 10am on Sunday.
KTLA has contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office for details of the incident.
