The city of El Segundo has temporarily lifted restrictions to create more temporary housing options for people evacuated by wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
The order is effective immediately, according to an announcement released by city officials on Wednesday.
The law would issue permits free of charge for RVs that house people displaced by fire for up to 30 days.
Fees for short-term rental permits will also be waived to allow wildfire victims to rent.

In addition, transient lodging taxes for extended stay hotels (defined as hotel rooms with a kitchen and refrigerator) will be waived for displaced persons.
The order also addresses air quality issues by suspending street sweeping and parking bans through Friday and temporarily banning the use of electric blowers and leaf blowers, similar to Pasadena.
