After a thief’s den looted a country house in Northern California multiple times, the property fell into even wilder hands after the owner fled in fear. Authorities said.
On Friday, the Butte County District Attorney’s Office released charges against 11 suspects accused of repeatedly breaking into and stealing the 64-year-old woman’s home. Prosecutors said six additional suspects have also been identified in connection with the robbery ring, and charges against them are pending.
The woman first reported that her home, remotely located in Labrock north of Magalia, was robbed on April 17th.

The robber then returned. And then go back. According to authorities, the situation became very disastrous and the homeowner stopped staying in their home for fear of her safety.
The repeated robbery caused so much damage to the woman’s home, prosecutors said, allowing the bear to enter the property. Wildlife invasions only exacerbated structural destruction and economic losses for women.
Investigators with the Butte County Sheriff’s Office arrested 10 Magalian residents and one Paradise residents accused of participating in the invasion. Each has been charged with robbery at a first-degree home:

Some of the alleged robbery were released in their own recognition despite objections from the prosecutors. Crua, Maier, Dominguez-Feathers and Kupiheanapeahi are in custody at Butte County prison, set at $50,000.
Burnett and McLaughlin were scheduled to be arrested Friday afternoon. The identified defendants will return to court on July 9th and 10th.
