The fast-spread four-alarm wildfires across Riverside County are reportedly slowing forward, urging firefighters to lift mandatory evacuation orders.
Riverside County Fire Department crews lit the lights near the intersection of Tyler Street and Mandalay Court in Riverside, and quickly spread over 10 acres before 2pm on Sunday. By 3:30pm, the flames reportedly spread over 60 acres and 83 acres by 6pm.
According to the fire tracking website Watch Duty, the fire was quickly upgraded from three alarms to four people at the request of law enforcement to assist evacuation and additional fire engines, crews and firefighters.

Authorities ordered forced evacuations to residents along Mandalay Court, Eureka Drive and Gaylord Street, but these were lifted late in the evening. A map of the evacuation zone can be found here.
The Care and Reception Centre has been established at La Sierra Sr. Community Center, located at 5215 La Sierra Avenue.
Tyler Street between Arlington and Yulpa Street was closed and firefighters continued to fight wildfires.
Mindy and wolf fires are also drawing Riverside County resources. San Bernardino cable fire urged a forced evacuation order.
The cause of the Mandalay fire is investigated.
