National security and Chinese experts warn Israel’s attack on Iran is an example of why Beijing’s efforts to buy land and other assets within the United States need to halt immediately.
News reports began to surface after the first attack began on Friday, indicating that Israel secretly constructed drone bases in Iranian soil that it used to launch the attack. Israeli security officials added to the Jewish Chronicle that the weapons system and soldiers had been smuggled in advance, saying the operation was in years.
“Look at how Israel has penetrated Iran for sabotage. Look at the Chinese companies and assets currently permeating the US power grid (solar converters), local law enforcement agencies (DJI drones), and social media (Tictok).”

Gabriel Noron, president of Polaris National Security, also elicited similarities between the Grub of the US Chinese land and the recent Ukrainian drone strike, which destroyed a significant portion of the Russian air fleet. The attack reportedly included drones smuggled into Russia and released near the airfield.
“After the Ukrainian drone operation in Russia and Israeli operations in Iran, it is clear that the American enemy will try to replicate that playbook in our soil,” Noronha said. “It is increasingly dangerous to allow Chinese businesses and individuals to own land, especially near military bases and important infrastructure. Unchecked, we host secret Chinese military bases, launching all sorts of attacks, crippling our wartime citizens.”

For years, US officials have issued warnings about China’s efforts to buy land near military bases and other strategic assets that can help thwart the country.
Just recently, the Arizona Legislature passed a bill to prevent Chinese companies from acquiring more than 30% of their Arizona real estate, which was rejected by Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs. China had recently been trying to lease property near a major air force base in the state, according to the bill’s sponsor.

State Armor Action CEO and Founder Michael Lucci, a conservative group with a mission to develop and enact state-level solutions to global security threats, warned on Friday that if the US does not get serious about suspending China’s asset grabs, they risk losing war with them. He said that grabs the land was simply “the tip of the iceberg.”

“CCP’s land ownership is bad, but that’s the tip of the iceberg,” Lucci said. “Their holdings of industrial assets have been worsened as much as their port access. Perhaps the worst is the deep penetration of critical infrastructure and government systems.”
“I understand the potential issues with the Chinese government, which now owns American land,” added writer and podcast host Jamie Weinstein.
