The Federal Aviation Administration was in Pomona on Monday to investigate a plane crash that injured four people at the Pomona Fairplex the day before.
Preliminary details about the crash, which occurred around 11:10 a.m. Sunday during the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals, may be released later in the day, the Orange County Register reports. It was reported on Monday.
The single-engine Piper PA32 aircraft is believed to have been attempting to land near Brackett Field Airport in La Verne when it crashed near a racetrack attended by thousands of people.

In the video showing the plane flying low, a thud can be heard, followed by someone in the bleachers saying, “The plane crashed.”
The race was delayed as a result of the crash as emergency crews rushed to investigate the scene.
Sky5 aerial video from Monday morning showed yellow tape surrounding the five vehicles and three trailers involved in the accident.
For some reason, no bystanders were injured, and the four people on board the plane were extricated with moderate to serious injuries, but none were life-threatening. No update on the injury was available Monday.
The cause of the crash is part of an investigation being conducted by the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board.
