Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and high-risk man who was last seen in Cerritos.
David Andrew Arellano, 28, was last seen around 8 a.m. Nov. 10 in the 13000 block of Countries Lane, according to a LASD missing persons bulletin.
The 28-year-old is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He has a St. Jude tattoo on his left arm.
Officials said he was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
“Mr. Arellano suffers from schizophrenia and requires medication,” the release states. “His family is concerned for his well-being and is asking for the public’s help.”

People who are missing or in critical condition include, but are not limited to:
A missing person is a crime or victim of a crime. The missing person requires serious medical treatment. There is no pattern of missing persons fleeing or disappearing. Missing persons are victims of kidnapping or parental abduction. A missing person is mentally impaired to the extent that they are unable to care for themselves or are an immediate danger to their own safety or the safety of others.
