A multivehicle crash that left Los Angeles’ Brentwood area closed for several hours Monday morning due to a multivehicle crash that killed one person, including a police officer, and wounded two others.
The incident was reported around 2am near Moraga Drive, not too far from Sunset Boulevard.
In the video, an emergency crew is reacting, and a sedan with an inadequately damaged pickup truck and airbag deployed to the left is deployed to the left.
The unidentified victim from one of the vehicles was declared dead at the scene.
The emergency crew will respond to a fatal crash on the 405 Expressway held in Brentwood on June 23, 2025.
Two other victims were taken to a local hospital in unknown conditions.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic incident log, the officers involved in the crash were down and were not responding when they were found. The logs did not identify which department the officers worked in.
There was no update on the officer’s condition, but the video shows medical science, which has taken life-saving measures, as people who are believed to be moving to hospitals.
The second patient was also taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
At one point, the helicopter landed on the highway, probably transporting one of the patients.
All lanes on the southbound side of the highway remained closed until 4:30am.
There was no immediate word about what led to the crash.
