The FBI instructs Tesla owners to be vigilant as authorities identify their focus to stop the violence: former agents
Fox News Digital has learned that there have been a variety of cases of vandalism, arson, and shooting at Tesla vehicles, dealers and charging stations over recent weeks.
The task force is targeted nationwide as Tesla’s waves of car owners, dealers and charging stations are being targeted nationwide amid Elon Musk’s involvement with the Trump administration’s government efficiency (DOGE), which focuses on reducing wasteful spending and fraud within the federal government. Musk is Tesla’s co-founder and CEO.
“As always, director Patel and deputy director Bongino have affirmed their reactivity to agents on earth and provide the resources they need to serve Americans,” FBI spokesman Ben Williamson told Fox News Digital. “This task force is just the latest move to coordinate efforts to ensure that those who attack Tesla vigorously are pursued and brought to justice.”

Since March 1, 2025, the FBI has received 48 “Guardians” related to Tesla violence, criminal activity and threatening communications. Parents will evaluate incidents based on counter-terrorism.
The FBI is currently investigating it in conjunction with federal, state and local law enforcement partners, and has conducted seven pending arson investigations.
A familiar source told Fox News Digital that the FBI has not developed a relationship between Tesla dealers and those involved in a series of arson incidents at properties and online groups.

On March 18, 2025, five Tesla vehicles police are investigating as “target attacks” at a local repair center in Las Vegas flare up.
Regarding the task force, the FBI created threat tags, streamlined reports, and command posts for the FBI headquarters were created. It consists of a joint FBI/ATF task force to mitigate its threat stream.

The FBI treats attacks as “domestic terrorism.” Attorney General Pam Bondy called the attack on Tesla “domestic terrorism,” and the Justice Department last week released charges against three suspects in the Tesla arson incident.
Tesla’s CEO and government’s Director of Efficiency has said he is “shocking” at the protests and attacks against Tesla.
“I think it’s really shocking that there’s this level of real hatred and violence from the left,” Musk said in an exclusive interview last week about “Hornity.”

“I thought the left was considered a party of sympathy, a party of compassion. And yet they’re burning cars. They’re burning bomb dealers. They’re firing bullets at dealers. They’re just breaking Tesla.”
Musk opposed the “confusing” attack, suggesting that “some mental illness is happening here, as this makes no sense.” The billionaires hinted at the “larger army” that could be behind the attacks that were born across the nation.
