R-Ga. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has condemned the US Food and Drug Administration’s move to green light Moderna’s Mnexspike Covid-19 vaccine.
“Not Maha!!!” the lawmaker wrote in X’s post using the acronym for the phrase “Unreal,” known as “Make America Healthy.”
“MnexSpike has been approved for use in individuals who have been previously vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine, and is at a higher risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19 in underlying conditions between the ages of 65 and above, or between the ages of 12 and 64.”

According to a Moderna press release, CEO Stéphane Bancel said, “Covid-19 remains a serious public health threat, with more than 47,000 Americans dying from the virus in the last year alone.”
The company describes itself as “a leader in creating the field of mRNA medicine.”

Green has previously opposed the Covid-19 vaccine and said FDA approval should be curbed.
“The Covid-19 vaccine should never have been approved, and I’ve always known how bad the side effects are and how bad the deaths caused by them are. It’s time to do the right thing. Stop the Covid-19 vaccine,” she declared in part of a tweet in March.

The lawmaker is currently serving a third term in the House of Representatives.
