El Rancho Unified School District released a video on Wednesday. This is said to indicate that the federal government is urinating on the campus of Pico Rivera schools.
Video recorded on June 17th shows several unmarked Border Patrol vehicles appearing to be on the campus of Reuben Salazar High School. Multiple agents appear to urinate behind the shipping container.
According to LA County Superintendent Janice Hahn, the campus is adjacent to both the park and Valencia Primary School of the Arts.
“The ICE agents not only illegally trespassed Erusd School Grounds, but also failed to expose themselves to minors and make sound and respectful decisions at the risk of committing public crimes under California law,” the John Contreras Committee said at a press conference.
Following the incident, the district issued a formal statement calling for “full accountability and an immediate federal investigation.”
Hearn, the manager who represents Pico Rivera, joined the district to request a federal investigation.
“It’s not enough that they spent weeks ambushing people vigorously. Nowadays, ICE and CBP agents are said to be entering school campus, pulling their pants down and urinating in the playground, especially in the face of the children’s community,” Hearn said. “I am participating in El Rancho Unified School District to request a full federal investigation into this case.”
According to a DHS spokesman, the incident is currently under investigation.
