The woman seen in the current video of a couple trying to hide after being featured on the giant “Kiss Cam” screen at last week’s Coldplay concert, has resigned from their astronomer status.
Christine Cabot has resigned from the data company, he said in a statement Thursday.
Cabot did not respond to requests for comment. An archive version of the Astronomer’s website lists her as Chief Human Resources Officer.
Cabot was identified by online users as a woman in the viral video. Online users identified both her and Andy Byron, the astronomer CEO, as featured in the video. The company said Byron had resigned on Saturday.
Cabot and Byron were hit by international fame last week after Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin was caught on kissing cameras during a show in Massachusetts, then hid their faces and hypothesized that they might be shy or cheating on them, and then called out to hide their faces.

Video of the moment when the round took place online and went viral on social media platforms X and Tiktok. Internet detectives identified the men and women in the clip almost immediately.
On Friday, the astronomer, a New York-based data company, said the CEO was on leave and was investigating the moment of the virus.
Byron’s resignation continued the following day. The company has appointed co-founder and chief product officer Pete DeJoy as interim CEO.
Byron has not responded to NBC News’ requests for comment.
