Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has expressed support for the arrests of illegal alien child sex offenders by US immigrants and customs enforcement agencies, while Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla) has advocated that individuals face the death penalty.
In a press release Monday, ICE said in a press release on Monday that “in the past six months we have arrested 214 illegal aliens for immigration crimes in the Houston area who have been accused or convicted of sexual offences involving minors.”
“I do not support or agree with all ice tactics and actions. I fully support these moves. This will make our country safer and all children safer,” Fetterman said in a post on X.

In response to news about Ice’s arrest, Luna in X’s post said, “Skip deportation. Go directly to the death penalty. Don’t pass. Don’t raise $200.”
According to an Ice Press release, one of the individuals arrested was Jose Guadalupe Meza, a 40-year-old deported offender from Mexico who was arrested on June 24th and found guilty of child theft and sexual assault.
Gisele Fetterman admits that her husband John running for a higher office is “will not be supportive.”
The news comes amid the Trump administration’s crackdown on border and immigration enforcement.
Fetterman has previously expressed his support for Ice’s work, describing the call for the agency to be abolished as “inappropriate” and “outrageous.”
