The first of FOX: A resurface interview with New York City’s socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani highlights his commitment to BDS and sanctions against Israel to run for mayor of a city with the highest Jewish population in the United States other than Israel.
“I’m extremely excited to be a member of the DSA, especially the New York City chapter,” Mamdani told SAAG Interactive in June 2021.
“If you submit in the survey that you are considered a candidate approved by the organization, you will be asked what your opinion is about BDS, and I think it has brought what is usually thought to the local political field of politics that creates candidate benches.
Mamdani was interviewed in the clip by a journalist named Naive Mian, who has a social presence littered with anti-Israel posts, accusing Israel of profiting from “anti-Semitic manufacturing” and defending the phrase “from river to sea.”

Mamdani continued to talk more about BDS, the acronym for boycotting, sale and sanctions in an interview.
“And I don’t think it’s too mundane to stand up to occupation and the apartheid atrocities, so I think it’s either a shipping container or a funded university, a university that will help develop the IDF’s weapons technology, or an event with the Israeli Ambassador.
Back in college, Mamdani has expressed her support for BDS. It expresses support for the BDS, describing it as “an international campaign to outlaw the Israeli state as an expression of the Israeli state’s right to self-determination by boycotting consumers, withdrawing governments of business and investment, and legal hygiene.”

Mamdani, who founded students at the Palestinian chapter at Maine’s prestigious Boud-in University, wrote in her school paper about the importance of academic boycotts in Israel, Fox News Digital previously reported.
“This also helps to highlight how this oppression is intertwined. That’s what we normalize it and say you know, and when it becomes inconvenient, my beliefs stop and we have to introduce that convenience does not mean anything in the face of these things,” Mandani said in an interview. “On a personal level, I am very committed to working proactively to stop the additional anti-BDS bills coming through Congress.”
Mamdani told Mian: “We are working on letters to distribute to be distributed in support of the aggressive measures we can take to stop apartheid and hold Israel accountable.

Mamdani continues, “My predecessor was someone who provided so much support and appeared at a press conference in support of the Israeli state. And I am embarrassed and shy in supporting the liberation of Palestine. People, in many other districts of New York City, I am just waiting for people to be given a term of office to express that solidarity.”

Mamdani said it was “my job” to push those who mentioned previously “as many opportunities as possible and to do the same for many other colleagues and people of all power.”
“We really believe that we haven’t reached the limit of support for the Palestinian fight for justice yet,” Mamdani said.
Fox News Digital has contacted the Mamdani campaign for comments.
Mamdani’s support for BDS has attracted criticism from Jewish groups in New York, and his father, Mahmood, has expressed his support for BDS while sitting on the court’s advisory committee, which has routinely called for sanctions against Israel,” Fox News previously reported.
Mamdani defended BDS support on the campaign trail in May when he said “my support for BDS is the core of my politics – non-violence.”
