LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – The strongest storm of the year hit Southern California, prompting flash flood warnings for mud, debris flow and recent burns.
The National Weather Service not only destroyed the Altadena by Eaton Fire, but also issued flash flood warnings about the Palisades and Franklin Burn Scars until 8pm tonight.

“Heavy rain travels through Ventura County and into Los Angeles County,” the NWS said in a post to X. road. ”
Southern California’s storm intensifies, causing minor landslides
Additional areas that have been warned of flash floods include Los Angeles, Glendale and Santa Clarita, with weather officials adding that “storms will include gusts of wind up to 70 miles.”
The most intense part of the storm was expected to pass through Southern California from noon until 6pm on Thursday. The rain as of noon Thursday is here.
