While Elon Musk walked onto the political stage with Government Efficiency (DOGE), becoming a key Democrat target in Congress and campaign trajectory, he was once considered an ally of former President Barack Obama and other Democrats.
On April 15, 2010, Elon Musk was portrayed as President Barack Obama, and the president visited Cape Canaveral, Florida, while touring the “SpaceX launch pad.” Currently SpaceX is one of the leaders of space travel, and has recently been praised for staying at the International Space Station astronaut.
“By the mid-2030s, we believe humans can be put into orbit on Mars and safely back to Earth, and the landing on Mars continues.

“But I would like to repeat this – I want to repeat this. Deep spatial exploration is the development of groundbreaking propulsion systems and other advanced technologies. So I give you the resources to break through these barriers.
President Donald Trump’s billionaire and advisor recently shared a 2011 clip from Obama, expressing the need to crack down on excess government spending.

In 2022, Musk said he retreated from the Democrats and bought the X, previously known as Twitter, and with support from Trump in 2024, he became more prominent across the business world and into the political field.
“In the past, I voted for Democrats because they are (mostly) kind parties. But they have become a party of division and hatred, so I can’t support them and vote for Republicans,” Musk famously tweeted in May 2022. He made multiple donations to Obama during his 2008 and 2012 campaigns.
In recent months, Musk has faced an onslaught of sleazy attacks from left-wing activists and Democrats, comparing him to the late Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler. In February, “Squad” member MP Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass. called the mask “the baby of Nazi Nepo, a godless, lawless billionaire who no one had chosen.”
Former leftist MP Jamal Bowman (DN.Y.) said Musk was “incompetent. He is a thief. He is a Nazi. People don’t trust him. The attack led Musk to say, “I had enough. I’ll suck up the lawsuit.”
In addition to verbal attacks on Musk, there were at least “80 incidents of arson or vandalism against Tesla vehicles and 10 incidents of vandalism against Tesla dealers, charging stations and facilities across the US and Canada.”

In Tuesday’s special election, Musk played a key role in the financial support and rally of Republican Supreme Court candidate Brad Schmiel, who lost to Democrat Susan Crawford. Meanwhile, Musk’s proximity to President for Doge has led the two to gather on the campaign trail.
“Donald Trump and Elon Musk have been crushed in Wisconsin. We’ll continue to put pressure on them,” minority leader Hakeem Jefferies (DN.Y.) posted on X on Tuesday night.
Obama’s office declined to comment on the story.
