Former Clinton-era National Security Council staff defeated his party and praised President Donald Trump’s successful strike against Iran over the weekend.
“I’m not a fan of Donald Trump’s many actions, but I’ll be openly and honestly when he takes the bold steps to defend America’s interests, just like tonight,” Jamie Metzle, founder of International Group Shared World, posted on X on Saturday night.
Metzle worked for former President Bill Clinton’s National Security Association and was the deputy staff director of former President Joe Biden’s Senate Foreign Relations Committee, repeatedly praised Trump with X over the weekend, shooting Harris’ lack of “courage and stigma.”
“But I am not a blind tribalist and am completely comfortable praising President Trump’s bold and brave actions in favour of America’s core national interests.
“I believe that electing Kamala Harris is better for our democracy, society, and economy, and to support the most vulnerable people in the US and around the world, but I believe VP Harris didn’t have the courage or courage to take the essential steps the president took last night,” he added.
Prominent Trump critics praise the president’s decision to attack Iran’s nuclear site
Former Presidents Bill Clinton and Joe Biden are currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of the 2023 Family and Medical Leave Act.
Metzl continued his X’s message that “Iran has been fighting the United States for 46 years,” and aimed to build nuclear weapons with the intention of wielding the United States and its allies.
Trump declares a “very successful attack” on Iran’s nuclear program as US military attacks three important locations
“Iran has been at war with the United States for 46 years. Its administration killed thousands of American citizens. Its slogan “Death to America” was co-ideology, not window dressing. He wrote.
Fox News Digital contacted Harris’ office regarding Metzl’s posts but did not receive a reply immediately.

Metzl’s comments are one of the dissonances between democratically elected officials and traditional anti-Maga voices that have come out to praise Trump since his successful attack on Iran.
Trump addresses the nation about the “magnificent military success” of the US strike at Iran’s nuclear facility
“The destruction of Iran’s nuclear program is essential for the ultimate peace in the Middle East. This is not a democratic or Republican issue. Addressing the threat of Iran is at the heart of America’s national security. The world is safe because of the actions of brave service members.

“This was the right move by @potus, as I’ve kept for a long time,” Sen. John Fetterman, a Democrat of Pennsylvania, wrote to X on Saturday. “Iran is one of the world’s leading terrorist sponsors and cannot have nuclear capabilities. I am grateful and salute to the best military in the world.”
Brett Stevens, a frequently critic of Trump’s New York Times columnist, wrote that Trump made the “brutally brave and right decision that no matter how he felt about this president,” but fellow Times columnist David French said it was the “right decision” on social media.
Other Democrats and frequent Trump critics, including New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massey, have slammed Trump on the strike, claiming they bypassed Congress.
After Iran attacks, Fetterman supports Trump: “The Right Move”
Trump announced his strike in Iran on Saturday night. This was announced in a true social post where media leaks and speculations have not been ahead of the impending strike. “Some time ago, the US military carried out massive precision strikes at the Iranian regime’s three key nuclear facilities, Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan,” Trump told the White House in a speech to the country late on Saturday on the strike. “Everyone has heard their names for many years because they built this horribly destructive company. Our aim was to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capabilities and to stop the nuclear threat posed by the terrorist sponsors of the world’s first state. Tonight, I can report to the world that the strike is an epic military success.”
The strike “eliminates” Iran’s nuclear facilities and brings the country back to the corner to get a peace deal, Trump said. The mission was celebrated by the co-headed chairman of Hegustes and Chief of Staff Dan Kane, and was praised as a secretive and deliberate deceitfulness of confusing the enemy.

“It involved misdirection and highest operating security. Our B-2s went in and out of these nuclear locations, both inside and outside, without the world knowing at all,” Hegses said. “That’s how it was historical.”
The operations included the longest B-2 Spirit bomber mission since 2001, the second-longest B-2 mission ever flew, and the largest B-2 operational strike in US history, Heggs and Kane said at a press conference on Sunday.

Operation Midnight Hammer was halted after months of attempts to negotiate nuclear talks and then raised concerns that Iran was moving forward with nuclear programs, following Israel, which launched its first strike on June 12. Shortly afterwards, Netanyahu declared that a strike was necessary to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival.
