The former top official of Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign is to warn Democrats not to be upset with a speech to President Trump’s Congressional joint session.
“Democrats: Don’t do this stupid sh during Trump’s speech,” posted by former Harris 2024 senior adviser Ian Sams, posted on X on Tuesday hours before President Trump gave a joint speech to Congress.
Samus had responded to an Axios report that revealed that Democrats were “floating” the idea of bringing props to Trump’s speech, including anti-Trump signs, egg cartons.
Previously, the White House reported that some Democrats in Congress were debating plans to go further than ever to protest Trump’s speech and further confuse him.

White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt said Fox News Digital Trump is ready for anything Democrats throw at him.
“A Democrat who acts like a child is probably the most amazing news of the night,” Leavitt told Fox News Digital.

Axios reported that some Democrats could even get out of their speech if they made comments that Trump thinks are offensive.

“What we all agree with is that this isn’t business as usual and we want to find a way to express our anger,” one lawmaker told Axios.
White House officials exclusively told Fox News Digital earlier this week that the speech, “Updating the American Dream,” features four major sections.
