Prosecutors filed additional sexual assault charges against former high school wrestling coach Ronald Wilson, according to a statement released Tuesday by Ventura County District Attorney Eric Nasalenko.
Wilson, 72, of Timnus, Colorado, faces seven new felony counts related to alleged attacks at two different high schools in Ventura County.
The charges came in the wake of the May 2025 arrest, when he was first accused of maintaining sexual relations with a Camarillo High School boy student between 2014 and 2017. The investigation began in March after the current adult victims were on the rise.
Two more victims contacted authorities following news of Wilson’s arrest. One individual claims that Wilson sexually assaulted her at Oxnard High School in 1990. The second claim abuse occurred at Camarillo High School, a school year of 2015-2016.

Stuart Gardner, Senior Deputy District Attorney in the office’s sexual assault division, is indicting the case. Wilson’s arrest in relation to the newly filed charges is scheduled for September 9, 2025 in Court 12 in Ventura County Superior Court.
He is in custody and his bail is set at $390,000 in connection with the latest fees.
In May, Wilson was charged with five felony and multiple special allegations in connection with a previously reported case involving a Camarillo student. The investigation remains active.
