American concerns about the economy, particularly inflation and tariffs, appear to be partially driving the downward trend of President Donald Trump’s approval rating in the new referendum.
Trump received 41% approval and 53% disapproval in a Quinnipiac University survey conducted April 3-7 and released Wednesday.
The president was approved/disapproved by 46% to 43% in the Kinipac poll conducted in the first week of the White House in late January. And Trump was slightly underwater in mid-February, at 45-49%. However, the president’s approval rate is essentially the same as a previous survey of Quinnipiac, which was on the field earlier last month… Read more
