Loma Linda residents had thousands of dollars worth of property stolen from the garage last month, but in the end, the perpetrators may have been far closer to the house than they initially realised.
The resident whose identity is not disclosed discovers that it was their neighbors who are allegedly stolen from them.
The robbery was reported Wednesday afternoon, but actually happened on May 22 in the 25,500 block of Prospect Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.
That day, about $4,000 worth of property was stolen from the garage that came with his home. This states that what was later sold at Offap was sold.
“Through the investigation, we found that the offer-up account was related to the victim’s neighbor, Victor Iborah,” the investigator said.
A search of Ibarra’s house is said to have resulted in part of the victim’s property, just like the stolen motorcycle.
The 30-year-old was booked at the central detention center on first-degree robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle, but prison records show he was released on bail. SBSD said his bail is set at $60,000.
No future court dates are listed in the records.
