The landscaper continued to recover from Wednesday and hand injuries after being beaten with a metal pole while working at a Brentwood home.
According to the homeowner, Adolfo Roman was caring for a garden near Dorothy Drive, near Bundy Drive Tuesday morning.
“I saw our gardener Rodolfo here and he was just covered in blood,” said homeowner Braden Huil. “He was feeling a lot of pain and blood was gushing everywhere.”
Huile, according to the gardener and his partner, the temporary people confronted them saying they were keeping him too much noise.
Despite Rome’s efforts to calm him down, the homeless man smashed him with a metal stick. Surveillance video footage showed temporary shaking in Rome at least twice.
“Rodolfo went down. He destroyed him again at the back of his head,” Huil explained what he saw in the video.
The homeowner said the landscaper is recovering from broken hands and head injuries.
The assailants are known to neighbors who are camped and sleeping in the abandoned property.
“He should be on the street,” the homeowner said of the homeless man, who told the owner of the vacant property about the ongoing issues.
Huile said he wants to raise funds for the gardener’s treatment.
“Rodolfo is a very beautiful man,” the homeowner said. “He’s fine. I think he’s still in great pain, but he’s a positive guy.”
