The average price of a regular, self-service gasoline gallon in Los Angeles County rose on Saturday for the fourth consecutive day, up 1.6 cents to $4.788.
According to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Services, the average price is 3.9 cents more than a week ago, but 10.7 cents a month ago and 48.2 cents a year ago. It has dropped by $1.705 since it rose to a record $6.493 on October 5, 2022.
The average price in Orange County rose 2.5 cents to $4.74, marking the fourth straight rise. It’s 4.6 cents over a week ago, but 10 cents a month ago, and 44.9 cents a year ago. It has reduced $1.718 since it rose to a record $6.458 on October 5, 2022.
The national average price fell on the eighth day in nine days, with six in six dropping by a cent to $3.139. 3.1 cents a week ago, 8.3 cents a month ago, 49.7 cents a year ago. It has dropped to $1.877 since it rose to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
