A nursing home worker has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a patient in Glendale.
According to Glendale Police, Larry Stanfil, 20, of Tujunga, has been working at the Glendale Post Cute Center facility since November 2024.
The employed as a certified nursing assistant, he has been accused of sexually assaulting a patient at least twice.
He is believed to have previously worked in other recovery facilities.
From August 2021 to May 2023, Chandler Convalescent Hospital in Glendale was arrested for sexual assault on a patient during Glendale nursing at an unidentified EL Monte facility between May 2023, May 2024 to October 2024, and August 2024 to October 2024, and the unidentified EL Monte facility of Larry Stanfil (August 2024 to October 2024), a Tujunga native, was arrested for sexual assault on a patient in Glendale nursing. On February 21st, Stanfil was arrested in connection with a suspected crime.
The LA County District Attorney’s Elderly Abuse Division has filed multiple charges against Stanfil for sexually abusing someone with a severe disability or medically incapacitated and institutionalized for medical care.
He was later released from bond custody. Police believe there may be more casualties that have not progressed.
