Records obtained by the KTLA show that the city of Los Angeles had a violent plan for several days before the January wildfire exploded, and was working with the National Weather Service on its disastrous warnings. City emergency staff met with the LAFD chief, who was currently sucked into, and had plans for the pre-development.
A 200-page Google chat shows city emergency officials responding in real time before the fire, and watches fire unfold on local news as they react to the post-crisis crisis.
At 10:45am on January 7th, I read in my first chat “The Palisade New Fire” and replied, “Yes, we’re taking off with this.” Within four minutes the city had activated a Level 2 emergency and within another 45 minutes evacuation was underway.

The day’s confusion is reflected in volleys of exchange chats during the fire, and broadcast news and apps also show that they rely on emergency situations to gather information when making decisions.

At 6:12pm, in an unprecedented move, the LAFD contacted local media and asked all firefighters to be brought to work.

As we know, President Biden was in town, and while fire aircraft aircraft could fly safely and securely, the president’s flight restrictions changed the protocol. LAFD had to chat with the Secret Service when they flew.
