Key Republicans say Israel will continue to provide bipartisan support from Congress as Israel exacerbates tensions in the Middle East.

“Yeah, absolutely,” said R-FLA MP Mario Diaz Barato when asked about the hypothetical supplemental funding package in the event of a long-term conflict.

“I think that very, very, very, very strong bipartisan support, especially the Republican support, for Israel, and what we’re seeing again is that Israel is doing what it takes to protect itself from literally wiping it off the face of the planet.”

He also praised President Donald Trump for dealing with the uncertainty “so far” situation.

The Florida Republican chairs the House Approximate Budget Committee, which is responsible for overseeing foreign aid and State Department funds.

National Security, the State Department and related programme subcommittees were key to parliament last year creating emergency foreign aid packages to Israel, Taiwan and Ukraine.

Diaz Barato said he had not spoken to House leaders about the issue, noting that most lawmakers are not in their hometown districts that care for their constituencies this week.

He added, “I actually had an informal conversation with the members.”

He refused to say how these members felt about Israel’s supplementary funding, but told Fox News Digital that he “can’t speak for others, but I would like to tell me that I have a very strong appetite from me to make sure that Israel has all the help it needs to get done.”

Meanwhile, he and his fellow subcommittee members are creating a budget bill for the next fiscal year that will come on October 1st.

“We’re trying to do what we’ve been doing consistently, supporting Israel. If we need to do more, obviously, we’re seeing strong support, whether it’s in spending or not… If we need a bill, or a supplement, I think we’ll see strong bipartisan support,” he said.

Last year, the House expanded its emergency US funding to Israel in more than $26 billion, humanitarian assistance in the region, and American military operations. The bill was overwhelmingly passed with 366-58 votes. This is an increasingly rare occurrence due to the major laws in the current political situation.

Twenty-one House Republicans and 37 Democrats voted against the measure at the time.

But since then, Democrats have become increasingly critical of the Israeli war in Gaza and the conservative government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

At the same time, there is growing skepticism about foreign aid among House GOPs. In particular, citizen debt has risen to $37 trillion.

However, when asked about both of these factors, Diaz Balato was still optimistic that a virtual aid package could pass if he grew up in Congress.

Israeli officials said Iran was dangerously close to having nuclear weapons when it launched an attack on Tehran, which killed the top Islamic regime military personnel and hit the nuclear presence in and around it.

Since then, both sides have replaced rocket fires, and deaths have been reported to both sides.

Fox News Digital will comment on the possibility of supplemental funding to Israel, R-La. and speakers of Chairman Tom Cole, chairman of the House House Approximate Committee at R-Okla.
