(Hill) – First term GOP Rep. Brandon Gill (Texas) has introduced measures that require all $100 bills to make President Trump’s face.
The law, entitled Golden Age Act of 2025, highlights common sentiment from the President and his allies.
“No one has done much to lead America into a golden age than President Trump,” Gill said in a statement Monday. “Featured him on a $100 bill is a small way for him to honor all of this accomplishment.”
Lawmakers shared an official Trump photo covered in a $100 bill, saying, “Let’s make history.”
If passed, by legislation, the Treasury Secretary will publish the preliminary design of the bill by December 31, 2026, and will post all bills created after December 31, 2028 in Trump photos.
Rep. Troy Nairs (R-Texas) is a co-sponsor.
The measure comes just days after Rep. Joe Wilson (Rs.C.) said he was preparing legislation to feature Trump in a new $250 bill.
Now, the law prevents living people from appearing in US currency.
