Sen. Lindsey Graham, Rs.C. warned that Republicans in Congress must facilitate funding to continue President Donald Trump’s border zone Tom Homan’s massive deportation plan.
Graham has appeared on NBC and CNN Sunday advocating for two separate bills. A $100 billion border package and a second $200 billion bill focused on “national security.”
As deliberations in both chambers continued, Graham warned Republicans not to take too long to reach a consensus. He said Homan needed immediate funding to further implement his large-scale deportation strategy, which includes increasing the number of detention beds from 41,000 to about 150,000.

States of the Union. “He doesn’t have the tools he needs to carry out this plan that President Trump has given him until Congress appropriates more money.”
Graham argued that tax discussions can wait until the end of the year, but Congress cannot delay border funding given the national security implications.
“So, for my Republican colleagues, we’ve hit a wall here. We’re not building a wall. We’ve hit a wall,” Graham told CNN. “We need proper money for Tom Homan so that President Trump can do what he promised. And if we delay it, we will have enough time to deal with it once the tax expires in December.” There was an attack on our country. We’re worried that if Congress doesn’t give us his administration, we’ll get together on this soon. .”
